Scott
Seymour currently serves as Equine Manager for Morrisville State
College charged with daily operations and involvement in future planning
of the equine program. Scott
is the instructor for the draft and driving horse management area,
including supervision of the College’s six horse hitch, the only one
of its kind in North America.
Scott
teaches driving course to 35 students annually with 90 % of them never
having driven a horse before. In
addition, 4 interns are developed to show the hitch each year. The college’s six horse hitch has been the
high point hitch at the New York State Fair four times.
Scott
himself has been named top reinsman for the New York State
fair in 2001 and 2005. |

Scott
also comes with considerable judging expertise, having
judged numerous draft horse shows including the 2007 National Western
Stock Show in Denver, the 2007 North American Six Horse Hitch Classic
Series Finals, and other state fairs.
Scott is actively involved in every aspect of the Draft Horse world, including
serving on the Board of Directors of the Belgian Corporation of America
Youth and Education Fund, and the Board of directors for the North
American Six Horse Hitch Classic Series. Scott
also serves as instructor for the Take the Lead workshop for the Belgian
corporation and the Ontario Percheron clinic. We are so excited to have this east coast teamster at Draft
